Air Knowledge

AirKnowledge is a partnership training program in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). AirKnowledge develops training material focused on the Clean Air Act program areas managed by OAQPS. This website is intended for use by the public and EPA staff. State, local and tribal air agency users should view training offerings on the learning management system (LMS).

The training materials on this website are arranged by eight curricula (subject areas): a foundational Air Pollution Basics curriculum and seven curricula that relate to particular job functions within air quality agencies. The content on this website is labeled as follows:

AirKnowledge content (as indicated with the AirKnowledge logo) is all new training content developed by AirKnowledge since 2020 (modules and courses).

AirKnowledge legacy content is all training content developed by AirKnowledge prior to 2020 (modules and courses) that is dated but is relevant to the program curricula.

Partner-developed content is content developed by AirKnowledge partners that is relevant to the program curricula.

EPA-developed content is content developed by EPA outside of AirKnowledge that is relevant to the program curricula.
